International Delight® One Touch Latte™

I received International Delight® One Touch Latte™ free through Crowdtap to facilitate my review. My review is 100% honest.

I thoroughly enjoyed this new creamer. I found mine at Target along with the other creamers as you can see above. International Delight One Touch Latte froths your coffee through something like aerosol. I had to solicit feedback to use it properly and ID reached out to my Instagram directly to give instruction. You have to press firmly and forcibly on the white tip for it to rapidly shoot into your coffee to actively “froth” it before your eyes. I sampled the caramel, which was pleasantly natural tasting and sweet.

The downside is that to get full flavor, you’d need to pump quite a bit and it only claims to hold 7 uses, which isn’t exactly worth it to me since it’s not real milk, it’s cold, and you will likely only get 5 with the amount required to give your coffee full flavor. It’s more for the frothing effect which is fun to sip through and taste in your coffee.

I would like to try the vanilla next, I’m not sure the mocha would have a very good flavor, especially frothed as that’s not a frothed beverage to begin with (and don’t tell me “mocha latte,” that’s a sham of a drink.) Overall, it was a very fun concept and totally worth it if you’re looking to lighten up your mornings with something fun and easy at a fraction of the cost of a real latte from a coffee shop.

Dunkin’ Donuts Vanilla Creamer

I received a free sample of Dunkin’ Donuts Vanilla Creamer through Crowdtap to facilitate my review. My review is 100% honest and my own words.

I always drink my coffee black, so I was surprised I was chosen to try Dunkin’ Donuts “extra creamy” creamers. I decided I’d give it a go and bought teas to make indulgent drinks if it was as sweet as their coffee shops’ syrups and creamers. I was right, but happily shocked to find that I enjoyed it!

20170507_150305 I found that it was extra creamy, better than half and half or milk. It’s also made with real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup or oils, which is a huge bonus in my book for creamers.

It sweetened my drinks with a real vanilla taste as well. It didn’t taste at all generic or processed. I have happily been adding it to my coffees, chai teas, herbal teas, and finding other uses in between like sweetening my oats in the morning with a splash. It’s a versatile sugar creamer that really goes the distance for giving your drinks extra creamy goodness. I would highly suggest as it comes in many variations.

I found mine at Walgreens as it’s not sold in conventional grocery stores, I discovered. Check out the product finder on the website as it’s difficult to find any flavors outside of vanilla, regular, and extra creamy around me, unfortunately.

New way to start my days!

Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alernative

I received a sample of Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative for free through Crowdtap in return for my honest opinion.

I do not like Soy whatsoever, except for edamame! However, I was pleasantly surprised to be chosen to try one of these and I have to say, I wasn’t exactly disappointed. I was apprehensive as I absolutely adore regular yogurt, mainly Greek style and whipped, so this was a whole other level. I gave it good shake to feel the consistency and it was very much like regular yogurt.

I chose Strawberry, but they had citrus flavors, vanilla, and a couple of other berry flavors.  When I first cracked it open, I was surprised to see actual strawberry remnants, like they had used some type of puree while mixing. It was a vibrant pink and had the scent of strawberry. It was a little thinner than I prefer, but I was excited to try. It has 6 grams of protein, which is less than my usual, regular yogurt, so I was somewhat bummed they didn’t incorporate whey in there.

Breakfast Preparation

I mixed mine up with fruit and enjoyed it. The downside was that the soy shines through at the very end of the pleasant bite. It was sweet like milk yogurt and then took a dive for slightly bitter, very soy-flavored aftertaste. I saw many recipes and think it would be an awesome alternative to blend into something like a smoothie, but I don’t think I’ll be eating on its own over regular yogurt any time soon. I love the idea, but hope they modify it a little further.

Johnsonville Grillers

I received complimentary Johnsonville Grillers through Crowdtap to facilitate a review. This review is 100% honest from my heart (& tummy).

Check out my Johnsonville Grillers review on their website with the other Grillers available:

I don’t sugar coat it, I tell it how it is.

j5Johnsonville Grillers are pretty tasty for being a frozen pork product playing as a burger!

I was hesitant to try these because the ingredients are a bit crazy and daunting to look at, the nutrition is horrible, and the flavors didn’t appeal to me tremendously.

Nevertheless, I gave these a go by broiling them and eating them with garlic bread. I was pleasantly surprised! These cooked better than a frozen burger to me, they got some color and they are pre-smoked, so it tastes like you’re bite into a “real grill”-type of bite.

I actually found these taste exactly like bacon pulled from a bacon cheeseburger. I would like to shave these down and top them on a real beef burger because that would be the perfect combination of cheese & bacon.

I actually plated mine with garlic bread and a potato. These were a heavier bite for me, so I would have preferred a salad or something light with them. The garlic bread brought out a nice combination of flavors and I know they had a Steakhouse and Onion flavor that would probably marry well with the garlic bread.

j2 I wouldn’t put these directly on a bun, some people might, I just don’t eat bread that often. I prefer it with a beef burger or a hot dog, but this pork wouldn’t have been appetizing for me.

It’s definitely not kosher as it’s 100% pork cuts, so be wary of your consumers when you take for a BBQ. These are perfect to take for a regular BBQ and as I said, you could make a box last a while if you cut them down once they are cooked. They don’t lose water like frozen burgers, they actually plumped up to me because the cheese expanded.

I would definitely recommend them for pork lovers out there. Be aware that the website also indicates that these are best consumed prior to 30 days of freezing. After 30 days, I guess they lose some flavor; so, don’t stock up on these, only buy when you’re ready to use. I found that interesting as I don’t deal with much frozen pork product and never really gave much thought to the tenderloins I throw in the freezer. Let me know if you tried any of the other flavors!

GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ

I received a complimentary box of GoGo squeeZ YorgurtZ through Crowdtap to review honestly.

go I absolutely love these shelf-stable yogurts! I was familiar with their applesauce line and loved it. The ingredients are amazing. I was chosen to try the Berry flavor.

The Berry flavor is more like raspberry and I am not that into it. It has a great consistency and it’s the perfect portion size. These are awesome for on-the-go and for keeping little ones clean during snack time.

Target has a deal going on Cartwheel in my area this week, so I’m going to get the Strawberry and they also have Banana that might be great with peanut butter.

I prefer the applesauce because it tastes like real fruits smashed into this package. The yogurt is heat-treated and they don’t have to go in the fridge, so it’s a bit different type of consistency than regular yogurt, it’s much thicker, but not like Greek yogurt.

I keep one in my gym bag because they pack a good amount of protein and minerals.

I gave a couple to my sister-in-law for my nephew. He loves them! They are simple to eat and, as far as I know, the kids like them chilled.

I would suggest you mix them with real fruit or cereal puffs.

I’ll be buying more at Target and hoping they have some of the new apple sauces. These are so simple and safe.

Lastly, I love the packaging! It’s not super bad on the environment and can be recycled.

The cap’s easy to remove, even for little hands to start grasping and helping themselves. I highly suggest for those who need a quick bite to eat or an easy, health-conscientious snack on-the-go!

Yummy puree & low sugar!

Sahale Snacks Sample

I received a box full of Sahale Snacks for participating in their crowd on Crowdtap. I was to review the snacks honestly and thoroughly, so here on my thoughts.

This box contained:

  • 1 sample of Sahale Snacks® Honey Almonds Glazed Mix
  • 6 samples of Salted Caramel Apple Pecan Layered Nut Bars
  • 6 samples of Almond Vanilla Latte Layered Nut Bars
  • 1 sample of Sahale Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews
  • 1 sample of Sahale $1.00 Coupon

Great for an in-between snack in the morning.

I loved the Honey Almonds Glazed mix the most. It was naturally flavored and very filling. I know I’ll be spending my coupon on more of those soon at my nearest store. My least favorite had to be the Salted Caramel Apple Pecan. I don’t like salted caramel that much, but this just completely took away from the apple and had too many layers. I felt the same way with the Almond Vanilla Latte bars. They could have been more simple which I was expecting from Sahale.

Super filling!

I really want to try the pistachio mix and have loved their founding ideology.

My favorites on the site look to be the Dark Chocolate Peanut bar & the Berry Macaroon mix. I absolutely love the flavor combos and know I can’t find them anywhere else…. trust me, I’ve looked as the foodie I am.

I think the Nut Layer Bars were a great idea, but too much can go overboard in terms of flavoring options, which I’m not sure they quite realized with these two they sent.

I ended up mixing some of the Honey Almond Glazed mix into my blueberry muffins for a different nut flavor away from walnut and I was extremely pleased, these are awesome to cook with because the coatings are so natural. I’m definitely going to be picking up more soon.

Easy snack while I work!

#WeightWatchersIceCream VoxBox

Ah, the choices!

Ah, the choices!

Yummmmm, ice cream without as much guilt! Influenster teamed up with Weight Watchers to offer two free coupons to try their ice cream. I was able to try two and can give my honest opinion about them.

ww3Currently sitting in my freezer are the Salted Caramel Candy bars & the Dark Chocolate Raspberry bars.

I kicked back and had a candy bar while finally getting into OITNB:

So, I gave it a try and DISGUSTING! Ugh, it tastes like they just dumped salt into a perfectly okay caramel. The ice cream cannot even help this disaster of a sauce. I threw this one out after two bites thinking maybe I just wasn’t appreciating it enough and tried it three days later while watching a movie.

Gave it another try.

Gave it another try.

Still terrible. I am not a fan of these at all. I am trying to give them away, I wish I would have gotten the Cookies and Cream bar over these.

HOWEVER, the Dark Chocolate Raspberry ARE DELICIOUS! I cannot get enough. They are the perfect amount of tiny sweetness without going overboard.

I will definitely be keeping these in the freezer and look forward to any more partnerships Weight Watchers has as they area always supportive and coming up with great ideas to trim your waist!
